What is Your Favorite Place?
What is your favorite place? Everyone has a favorite place, but when you’re new to a community, part of the task, part of the challenge, is to figure out what is your favorite place. So over the last 14 months of living in Hutchinson, Kansas, one of my favorite places has boiled down to Sandhills Brewery.
I feel like me and Pippin have become friends in the process of visiting Sandhills, and I’ve come to meet some really extraordinary citizens of our community here in Hutchinson, Kansas. Just last night, I was at their facility, and the front showroom, restaurant, tap room, Whatever we want to call this thing was open.
I was floored. I expected the grand opening to be on the 6th, but Pippin opened the room up earlier this week so that he could have kind of a soft opening. The decor is tremendous, the vibe is fantastic, the variety of beer on tap for a guy like me is amazing, and When I looked at the other people that were there and I observed the smiles, the conversations and the camaraderie of this community, I came to really understand that when it comes to choosing a favorite place, I think I chose well, but that’s not all.
My question to you is what is your favorite place? Having grown the Living Hutch website over the last year and written reviews on many establishments and businesses within Hutchinson, I always find the feedback kind of interesting. I’m interested. What is your favorite place? How would you add value to your favorite place if you had the chance?
