Hey friends… WE’RE HIRING!!
Are you a high school/college student, stay at home mom/dad, or retired and are looking for something fun to fill part of your days AND get paid? Do you love to be in the kitchen experimenting with recipes? Then we have a job for you!
I’m looking for someone who can work 1 or 2 evenings Tuesday through Friday & Saturdays. If they are available to work a couple of day shifts – even better!
Holly’s Sweet Treats is currently seeking high-energy, positive, and friendly individuals who like to make customers smile. This part-time Baker/Cook – should be as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & feeding joy as we are! In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that will offer unique menu selections of more than 50 fresh baked pastries, pies, cakes, muffins & lunch items.
-Closed Sundays & Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day supporting our team’s ability to have work/life balance.
-Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to details to create one of a kind pastries & baked goods.
-Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies is an important part of this role.
-You will be required to stand, lift, and mix throughout your shift.
-The ability to work through change & be able to be flexible all while keeping a close eye on what’s cooking!
-Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed.
-Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
-Provide premier customer service, including greeting customers and responding to questions.
-Take and fill future orders for customers.
-Maintain and fill bakery trays, display cases and ingredient bins.
-Cashier responsibilities include sales entry, payment processing, and ensuring drawer accuracy.
-Assist in other duties, as assigned by manager.
-This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work quickly and well under pressure.
-Must be 16 years old or older to be qualified for this position.
